Honey is rich in antioxidants compounds .Anti-oxidants promotes the immune system. It helps lower blood pressure,diabetes and improves cholesterol levels in the blood.It is also an excellent source of energy and promotes sleep.
Gelatin helps to improve the skin,eases joint pain and strengthen bones.It enables the body to absorb calcium.It is also low in carbs which can aid in weight loss.
2 cups pure pineapple juice. (2 ripe pineapples) do not add water.
½ or 1 cup pure raw honey.
1/2 tablespoon grass feed Gelatin powder.
Peel your pineapple, cut it into small pieces.
Blend it in a blender and squeeze out the juice using a clean muslin cloth or cheesecloth.
Pour the juice into a small saucepan and bring it to boil.
Boil on medium heat, stirring often until it stops to bubble.
Lower the heat and add the gelatin powder constantly stirring until it is thickened or it is well mixed.
Add honey and mix well.
Pour into a clean glass jar and let cool for 30 minutes.
Store in an air tight glass container in the refrigerator.
Serve with bread or as desired.
The jam Can last up to 6 months if stored tight in the refrigerator.
