Homemade acne moisturizer for oily skin is what an oily acne-prone skin needs. This is important because you get to know all the ingredients you are putting on your skin and how they are affecting you.
There are so many commercial acne moisturizers out there which claim to be useful for oily acne prone skin. I tried several brands, but unfortunately, most did not work for me.
Most of the acne moisturizers I bought were quite expensive. In addition to that, most of the ingredients and fragrance in them were unfamiliar to me. I did not understand their impact on my skin. No wonder my skin would feel drier or greasy most of the time. Some even made my skin itch; probably you have had a similar experience.
The acne struggle
Acne does more than affect your skin; it can influence and impact your life in various ways. It can affect you; psychologically, socially and even physically like any other disease.
Anybody who has suffered from acne will agree with me that acne can make you feel depressed, frustrated and hateful towards you. You tended to develop low self-esteem and embarrassed about your skin.
Probably you have tried every form of treatment and any possible solutions to get rid of acne, but nothing seems to be working. You are not alone, I had acne, and nothing seemed to be working for me.
I spent much money on expensive moisturizers, ointments and supplements which only yield results for a few days and my acne were back.
A few months ago I realized that the food I ate had an impact on my skin. Some types of food were causing my acne, and therefore I decided to cut them from my diet. I have seen a tremendous improvement in my skin since then.
My dilemma was where and how to get a good moisturizer for my oily skin. I started experimenting with different natural acne remedy and found this homemade acne moisturizer to be sufficient for me.

What to consider when buying the ingredients and safety concerns.
Always try to buy 100%pure or organic ingredients. It is essential to read the labels to make sure you are getting the right products. Knowing what you put on your skin helps to prevent any further irritation or breakout on your skin.
Your skin is delicate, and I believe that you would not want to make it worse. Be cautious about what you put on it.
Do a skin patch test before using these essential oils. Put a drop or two of each essential oil in ½ teaspoon carrier oil like almond oil on a piece of cotton cloth or cotton ball and rub it on the upper part of your arm. Any time you get any irritation lasting for more than one hour. Stop using that oil or its blend directly on your skin.
