Homemade moisturizer for oily -acne-prone skin is probably what your skin needs. Making a moisturizer that suits your skin type is important because you get to know all the ingredients you put on your skin and understand how they are affecting you.
There are so many commercial acne moisturizers out there that claim to be useful for oily acne-prone skin. I tried several brands, but unfortunately, most did not work for me.
Most of the acne moisturizers I bought were quite expensive. In addition to that, most of the ingredients and fragrance in them were unfamiliar to me.
I did not understand their impact on my skin. No wonder my skin would feel drier or greasy most of the time. Some even made my skin itch; probably you have had a similar experience. Now it is time to try something you can make naturally at home.
The acne struggle
Acne does more than affect your skin; it can influence and impact your life in various ways. It can affect you; psychologically, socially and even physically like any other disease.
Anybody who has suffered from acne will agree with me that acne can make you feel depressed, frustrated and hateful towards yourself. You can as well develop low self-esteem and feel embarrassed about your skin.
Probably you have tried every form of treatment and any possible solutions to get rid of acne, but nothing seems to be working. You are not alone, I had acne, and nothing seemed to be working for me.
I spent much money on expensive moisturizers, ointments and supplements which would only yield results for a few days and my acne would be back.
A few months ago I realized that the food I ate had an impact on my skin. Some types of food were causing my acne, and therefore I decided to cut them from my diet. I have seen a tremendous improvement in my skin since then.
My dilemma was where and how to get a good moisturizer for my oily skin. I started experimenting with different natural acne remedies and found this homemade acne moisturizer to be sufficient for me.
